About Alex

Alex Bremner graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney Australia in 2008 with a degree in Primary teaching. She works as a learning support teacher in a public school in Sydney where she teaches literacy and numeracy to children with learning support needs. In 2009 she started post graduate studies in Special Education. Alex is also an experienced children's entertainer. During her undergraduate years, she performed hundreds of children's birthday parties. This allowed her to refine her skills as a children's entertainer!

In 2006 she met Fi-Be through Pat Brymer (the master Hollywood puppet maker) and from then on, Fi-Be and Alex entertained children worldwide.

Alex is passionate about teaching children with reading problems. This passion is what inspired The Amazing House.

Alex comes from a family of teachers and entertainers. Her mother is a history teacher who is currently doing her Masters at Macquarie University in Educational Leadership. Her father, the entertainer, is the one who got her interested in puppets and magic tricks when she was 12. He is also an electrical engineer and has helped to make The Amazing House the success it is today.
